room was comfortable although bed was quite small --everything worked ---soap dispenses were filled --liked the walk in shower . breakfast was good --not a buffet which makes a change for a traveller.

The property was easy to find, and parking was right outside, although I would say it gets busy, and is on a first come first served basis as its on street parking. Our room was a lot larger than I was expecting, with everything you might need, and the added bonus of a fridge. As we had a ground floor room, the windows overlooked the seafront, and the front entrance, so when we were in, we kept part of the curtains closed, just for a bit of privacy. This is not a criticism, just an observation.
Overall, everything to do with our stay was excellent.

Good older ground venue.
Good older ground venue. No parking at the ground for away fans so if staying in Southend either walk or get a taxi.
The away refreshment room is like an old garage, very basic and very little food on offer.
