Richmond Park

London’s largest park has royal roots – it was founded as a 17th-century hunting ground for King Charles I. Today deer still roam Richmond Park’s woods and grasslands, which are criss-crossed with well-used bridleways, cycle paths and running trails. Head for its highest point, King Henry’s Mound, to gaze down the Thames Valley towards the gleaming dome of St Paul’s Cathedral.

Beautiful hotel, loved the spa, was quite busy when we were there but it was Easter weekend. Great breakfast lovely restaurant. Kind and helpful staff. We were really grateful to the staff for making a special effort with us. They recognised the reason for our stay and went above and beyond to make it memorable. We were given an upgraded room with a roll top bath (which was wonderful after a long day sightseeing). The hotel was beautiful and we had a brilliant stay. The Access to Richmond park was seamless and transport links into zones 1-2 were great.

The location was fantastic for us next to the entrance to Richmond Park, a short walk down to the river. We used their cycle store. We didn't stay for dinner or breakfast, the hotel reception staff were very welcoming and the hotel is beautiful. Our room was snug and had an expandable screen which opened to make the en-suite bathroom. It was a very comfortable bed and they provided elemis toiletries - great nights sleep!

We stayed in the Harbour Hotel in Richmond for my boyfriends 23rd birthday and we absolutely loved the hotel. - The spa was beautiful and clean, which made for a perfect relaxing weekend - exactly what we came for. - The room was spacious and well-decorated, and despite being on the ground floor, very quiet. - The location was perfect - close to Richmond Park (seconds away) but also walkable to the town / river for walks and shopping.

The hotel has a lovely location, at the top of Richmond Hill and near the entrance to Richmond Park. The restaurant is good and has nice spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Having access to the health club and spa was great; there are very good workout facilities and a nice pool, and lovely outdoor spa area with hot tubs.

Very good location next to the river between the town centre and Richmond park. The hotel is cosy with helpful, welcoming staff. Nice rooms with comfy beds and pillows and excellent shower. They have both a restaurant and a lovely bar with simpler food - we ate there and it was delicious. Breakfast is good.
