Lovely surroundings, nice place to go for a walk, had a nice day on canal boat down the river wye...
The property was well stocked so had everything we needed. The beds were co for table and the bedrooms roomy with large walk in closets in both. It was working walking distance of Puzzlewood, and other activities were only a very short drive away.
This was a rare find, we loved everything.
-Excellent value
-Great location, we loved visiting the various eateries in the village for dinner without the need to drive in the evening
-Friendly host
-Clean and well equipped
-We accessed lots of beautiful walks, hired bikes, went paddle boarding, went to Clearwell caves and Puzzlewood
Nice apartment with 2 bedrooms on the first floor and living room on the 2nd with view on the city center. We've stayed with our son and dog. A lot to see in the area - Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves ..., for afternoon walk Angus Buchanan VC Recreation Grounds. We've been parking in Newland Street parking 5 min walk from the hotel that is something like 6p for 6 days and there was always a parking space.
Very relaxing place.
Absolutely lovely stay. I stayed in the captain suite which had a small balcony and a mini fridge. Staff were nice & friendly. The food in tge restaurant was really nice (i had the surf & turf) the apple crumble was amazing (I took it to my room). There's a basketball court and skate park right across the road which was nice as I had my roller skates in the boot of my car so managed to get an hour skating in. I visited puzzlewood which was an 8 min drive away.
Good location, close to many family attractions - 5 min to Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. Very clean, well equipped kitchen.
Good communication with host.
Beautiful house with everything you need! Quiet location very suitable for a group of adults. We were able to easily get to local activities including paddle boarding and visiting puzzlewood. Enjoyed a visit to the local pub and had some perfect cosy nights in.
The room was lovely decorated and the coffee machine with pods and the fridge with drinks and milk in was a bonus and a nice touch. Also the kids games was nice, my daughter found a love for kids monopoly.
Lovely and warm room
Breakfast both mornings was nice with plenty of choice.
It's a great location for puzzlewoods and the train attraction.
