Beautifully located hotel. Staff were fantastic and attentive. We had a wedding approximately 20 minutes away from the hotel however we weren't able to check in early. The front desk kindly stored our bags for us and gave us our room keys. When we returned late at night, we were able to easily access our room and our bags were waiting inside for us. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The hotels grounds were beautiful and well kept. The only thing we weren't able to experience was the spa - all the more reason for us to return.

If you are looking for a quiet stay close to Norwich but not in Norwich then this is ideal. We decided to eat in the restaurant instead of heading into Norwich and that was the best decision. An unexpected extensive menu. We were blown away by the food. It was delicious. The room was clean and the en suite small but perfectly functional. Good value stay.

Beautiful building with fantastic history - try and get a place on one of the free guided tours. Donations are not overtly requested and the suggested £5 is nowhere near enough in our opinion as the upkeep of the building must be enormous.

The hotel was in a very central location, only minutes away from the city centre, and less than a mile from Norwich Cathedral, and literally next door to the beautiful Plantation Gardens, a hidden gem of Norwich.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, and included a small 'kitchenette' sink unit with crockery and cutlery supplied, along with a microwave!

We stayed in a junior suite, the room was really spacious came with a bathtub in the bedroom which I thought was a lovely touch especially if you're travelling as a couple.
IPad is available with all the information about the hotel and the area and allows you to order room service.

Great location not far from the beach and other hot spots. Plenty to eat locally. Norwich cathedral in walking distance.
