Excellent location to the train station (quick exit/entrance via Granary Wharf) and 5 mins walk into City Centre up Neville St. The hotel area is a thriving blend of canals/boats with restaurants and attractive apartments. The "South Bank" is an up-and-coming locale with new eateries popping up all over. I will definitely stay here again to see how this progresses!!
The King City Suite on 11th floor, with two double beds, each has a large TV at the end (one is a very comfy sofabed in a separate lounge), is perfect for those wanting to enjoy that 'apartment feel' with all the benefits of hotel services! The large bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, all with nice Crabtree toiletries. There is a fridge, Nespresso machine, tea/coffee facilities, dining table, and plenty of mirrors! The canalside views are excellent with plenty to watch as the world goes by.
The Sky Lounge on the 13th floor has friendly and professional staff. We received free drink tokens with our room too. Great views up there on the balcony!
Doubletree's breakfast is buffet-style (included cooked breakfast, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, jams, pastries, toast, waffles, cheese/hams, etc. A fantastic range to choose from!).
The Reception staff were very professional, friendly and happy to help with all our requests. The cleaning staff are also very cheerful, helpful and everything is kept spotlessly clean!
Thank you for a fabulous stay!
Once a bus and tram company office, this hotel retains its unique architecture, including a vaulted ceiling and quirky rooms, which come in different shapes and sizes.

Incredibly central yet back from the main street, so nice and quiet. Reception was very pleasant, helpful and approachable. It is a higher end hotel (in terms of price point), yet I thought of good value for what we wanted and expected. The reviews for the restaurant (Gino Di..) had been mixed, but we a party of three thought it was lovely for lunch and the lunch menu good value.
As an aside, Leeds exceeded our expectations. If you are someone who likes to window shop and indeed SHOP! this is a great city for it. The arcades are a joy to wander through.
