The bar staff were very friendly and it was great to be able to get a bar snack until quite late - as we went to the evening session of the Turkish Baths.

We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We arrived early so the lady took our stuff and kept it til we returned to check in. When we arrived they had already taken the luggage to our room. We also had an absolutely beautiful room at the the front. Huge bathroom with roll top bath. We felt really special. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and plentiful.

Check-in was quick and efficient, the room convenient and comfortable. Our little dog was made very welcome and had full access throughout the hotel. The location was first class being right in the centre of town but sufficiently far back from main roads so as to be quiet. The meals were excellent for choice and quality and included in our package.
The cost of our stay changed quite considerably from the original price due to a special deal being available and we were able to take advantage of that.

The hotel is a large suburban villa from the late 19th century, it has a lot of nice details and a rather magnificent (if very much second division) stained glass stair window of scenes of the life of Christ. We had the 'turret room', possibly the original master bedroom, which was large and attractive. There was little to fault, the staff were friendly and efficient, the room comfortable and the breakfast excellent. It is in deepest 19th century suburbia of large houses; so, to get anywhere expect a decent walk, but then if you are interested in 19th century bourgeoise architecture, which we are, this is a bonus.
Next to the Valley Gardens in central Harrogate, the Studley Hotel has a refurbished lounge, cocktail bar and terrace. The friendly, 4-star hotel has an award-winning restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

Great location and a short walk back in to the town, ideal location for the Harrogate convention centre , Valley Gardens , Catherine the apartment was exceptional, beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. The welcome pack was a lovely addition with milk, water, orange juice and a packet of cookies. Lots of information in the apartment of places to visit and information on where to eat and fresh flowers in the rooms . We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Highly recommend

I have stayed for the last three years at this Guest House. The location is perfect for the Harrogate Convention Centre which is only about 150 ft from the front door. The woman who runs it is pleasant and helpful and overall it is a decent hostelry.
