Only stayed for a night. Quite a nice site by the canal. The 'Club' area was very good - we swam twice whilst there. Ate in the Waterside restaurant which was very busy but food was good. The breakfast was excellent. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. We used it as a base to visit Chirk Castle and Attingham Hall.
Good room with a great breakfast and dinner options. And very good internet connection. Location is great with easy walking to train station and short drive to the marina to pick up the narrow boat. A longer but pleasant walk to Chirk castle. The owner was very helpful to give 6 people and baggage a lift to the Marina which was appreciated.
The location is excellent to seeing chirk castle. Ground floor room was much appreciated and the lovely garden view. Room was clean and had tea and coffee facilities and a hair dryer.
Great location in the middle of Chirk, our room was very comfortable and modern. We had a really good nights sleep, and the location meant it was easy to get onto the A5 the next morning. Very good for visiting Chirk Castle & the aqueduct too.
Excellent size room, decorated nicely and very clean. We took the dog and there were designated areas inside the hotel for dogs as well as a lovely garden.
Excellent location within the village opposite a lovely park and close to amenities.
We took the car to Chirk Castle which was well worth the visit.
Staff very helpful and friendly, good choice of breakfast.
Spa and treatments lovely. Restaurant nicely decorated and food quite good - perhaps little overpriced. Room and breakfast price good though. Staff helpful. Close to chirk castle which is a gem.
This is a large pub with a spacious beer garden, which also serves food so I didn't need to go anywhere else if I didn't want to. It is however close to Llangollen canal aqueduct and Chirk castle.
The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff were very polite and welcoming. The location was just right for our visits to Chirk Castle and Erddig. Useful shopping complex next door which included a Garden Centre. Lots of parking available.
