A beautiful Regency house, very elegant. My room was very well decorated to a high standard, especially the lovely turquoise fabrice bedhead, and pretty scallop wallpaper. Nice touches were flasks of water and real glasses. I liked the fact there were plenty of magazines and information available for guests.

The Vestry, hotel in Chichester

'Situated in Chichester centre, The Vestry features cooked breakfasts and free Wi-Fi and parking.

Room was nice and breakfast was OK. Location was great. No double glazing which made it hard to sleep with music blaring out until 3am. Now we know why earplugs were in the room, not that they made any difference,

Not our first visit, but rather distracted this time, as the whole nave was closed for a massive re-lighting project, leaving only one entrance open through the cloisters. Only the Lady Chapel offered an island of quiet in a space that felt uncharacteristically hurried. The recently opened cafe and garden opening from the cloister are however wonderfully light and attractive, with a staff who went far beyond their duty to help us with a particular problem.

We were attending a wedding in Chichester Cathedral so the location was very convenient. Within easy walking distance. It was also so helpful to be able to leave the car at the property. Everything was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Julia. All good

A beautiful old building behind the Chichester Cathedral and the room look out over the Bishop's gardens. Good communication from the host made it easy to find the place. Parking was available and the code to enter the property was given in good time. Access was easy. The room was large and comfortable with water, tea and coffee available. There is no contact with the host other than over email. This was ok for us but may not suit everyone. It is a really convenient place to stay for a visit to the city.

The Chichester Inn has retained its character as a traditional city-centre pub. It is centrally situated near Chichester Cathedral and has its own car park. The cooking is good and our bedroom was comfortable.

The setting within the Chichester Cathedral grounds was amazing. The 'rooms only' arrangement was fine because the Cloisters Cafe is a five minute walk away and offers a brilliant breakfast menu. The room provided everything that you would want for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal and it took minutes to get to the train station as well as a to a wide choice of restaurants, shops and the nearby Bishop's Gardens

Absolutely delightful! This charming building, being part of Chichester Cathedral grounds, has the most calm, serene vibe. Considering that there are no staff onsite (other than cleaning persons) 4 Canon Lane is very well organised and run. Thank you! Had a great overnight stay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
