    An interesting place, full of history.

    An interesting place, full of history. I liked the walk by the canal. Lots of cafes and young people having good time. I also visited The Science and Industry Museum and saw Stephenson`s steam locomotive the Rocket. I visited the John Rydlands Library. It was great.

    The hotel was lovely and in a great location for canal street, however somone walked into my room at 8.30/9.00am on the Monday morning while I was still in bed I told reception and they said they'd look at CCTV, I was abit shocked as the doors lock when they shut so someone must've had a key, they said it would've been house keeping yet check out wasn't until 12pm

    Bare bones, but great value for the location on canal street. Comfy bed, and clean enough. Some noise outside, but with windows closed and earplugs in, I slept great.

    The hotel is right in the middle of Canal street (Gay village for anyone who doesn't know Manchester), convienient if you are partying in the area. The staff were friendly. The shower room was fun with sparkly walls.

    Comfortable rooms and good location. Room has safe and kettle as well as a hair dryer and some hanging space. Location is very good with easy access to lots of trams and a few minutes walk into the centre, canal street is also less then 10 minutes away.

    Beautiful interior design. Really high quality finishing in the decor. Very good facilities (fresh milk for drinks was a nice touch). Adjacent to Canal Street, so terrific for a night out.
