Camden Town

What’s in a name? This cathedral is actually not named for St Jacob, but rather St James the Greater – he of Santiago de Compostela fame. In Latvian, the names for James and Jacob are the same – hence the confusion. Now that’s sorted out, on to the building: it’s a red-brick beauty, full of sacral art, and with a fine copper-plated spire poking up towards the sky. Lovely!
