The location and staff were fantastic! We loved the pool although wish it opened earlier for an exercise option. We loved our room! It was a perfect get away!

The hotel manager, Gregoure, made the stay very easy and pleasant! He was extremely helpful with recommendations, he was pleasant and smart. He recommended the restaurant at the location and put us on the waitlist, and luckily we were able to get in . He notified the chef of my gluten intolerance and nut allergy and the restaurant was able to accommodate. The grounds are beautiful with a very nice heated pool (I did not use) in addition they have a sauna which you can reserve. Also in a town where limited parking is available they have a wonderful parking lot on property which is monitored by the front desk.
Pavillon des Lys is located in the center of Amboise a 5-minute walk from the Amboise Chateau among the castles of the Loire Valley. Golf de Fleuray is a 20 minute drive away.

Wonderful hotel; elegant, beautiful, and very clean, in an excellent location. The proprietor provided a listing of very good restaurants within walking distance around the hotel, which was extremely helpful. The hotel was also willing to assist with booking dinner reservations. Lovely breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Located in a quiet neighborhood but a very close drive to the main town and restaurants. Parking was easy and available. Rooms were clean. Staff was kind but not overly friendly. We did not spend a lot of time in our rooms, but they were comfortable and as expected for room size in Eurrope.
