The people were just exceptional - couldn’t have been more caring and friendly without losing a very high level of professionalism. All the options at breakfast were very fresh with the variety of breads being outstanding - including two types of gluten free bread which was perfect for my wife. The location couldn’t be better providing immediate access to a range of trails and hikes which we thoroughly enjoyed (including seeing a completely black squirrel just metres from us). The other lovely thing was being able to use the breakfast food to make a packed lunch each day for walking

Location and staff (when available) were good. However we had a very disappointing experience and feel that the description of services and facilities is extremely misleading. We travel extensively and have stayed in many hotels and this was nothing like any hotel we've stayed in. There is no reception, no room servicing and zero information available about the area, how to access activities, opening times or etiquette rules for sauna and swimming and NO RESTAURANT was available to us during out stay. So it was not the relaxing, 4star stay with a Finnish sauna and nice dinner that we expected we were getting (given the description). We felt conned!
