Really convenient Hotel close to Helsinki Airport. Jumbo shopping centre is right next door over the escalator. Good selection of restaurants in the complex next to the Hotel. Ristorante Il Siciliano has excellent Pizza and I got a great Calzone again!

Great location near the airport for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but reasonable. Price was fair. Dinner in the Bistro was OK, steak was good but expensive, as expected in a hotel. I found it concerning that glass, glasses were in the bathroom with a tile floor and marble countertops. One slip and it could be a dangerous mess. They were just sitting on the counter, clean but not wrapped in any sustainable, sanitary packaging. Reusable - Yes but Best Choice - not sure. Don't miss breakfast. Huge selection of great foods. One of my best meals in Finland.

Vantaa was a vibrant city.
Vantaa was a vibrant city. Especially more busier in the central area near the harbour. As it was a planned short layover in the city, we do what most tourists would do. Did the ferry to Suomenlinna castle sea fortress. It was a good season for baby breath, hence we see a lot of it while we drive to Sipoonkorpi National Park.

What we liked most was the wonderful forest walks very close by and the climb up the steps and tracks of the man made hill, within the forest area.
We had a rental car and drove into the city center but the station and a shopping mall with restaurants were also good.

I really liked the design of the hotel, restaurant, lounge area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep before my flight to America after an 8 hour bus ride from St. Petersburg to Helsinki. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very tasty and inexpensive, and the breakfast was amazing! Many thanks to everyone who works at the hotel!

Nice and quiet town that has everything necessary for the traveller: shops, supermarkets, restaurants. Besides Vantaa is situated closed to the international airport, which makes the town a good place to spent a night prior your departure or after your arrival.
There is nothing at all wrong with the Hilton Helsinki Airport, the staff are pleasant, the rooms are fairly small but comfortable, the bathrooms decent and it's close to the terminal. Whilst it's a formulaic hotel, lacking particular personality, that's what you mostly expect from airport hotels so no complaints there.
Our poor score for the hotel is based on the pervasive and sickening smell of kerosene/avgas that pervaded our room and became stronger through the night, leading both of us to wake up feeling quite ill.
The hotel has a wonderful casual, friendly atmosphere with happy friendly staff and is reasonably close to the airport.
Our room was small but comfortable, clean and quiet with a very good shower.
There is a cafe in the complex with very good food and the breakfast had the best variety and the most tasty food we have had.
Although we didn't use any of the facilities, they are numerous and very different to anywhere else we have stayed.
Free on site parking and free WiFi.

Good hotel for stay a night before or after your flight. There is a shuttle running from stop 42 every 20-30 minutes until late. I used it at around 11 pm. There is also a shuttle from the hotel to the airport every 20 minutes in the morning. Room is very nice and shower cabin is excellent. Perfect breakfast in the morning. I used the section starting at 6 am, but there is also an option for 4 am. Will stay again for sure.
Comfortable stay, very close to the train station, only a short train ride away from Vantaa airport. Quiet and spacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast. We had an early flight, so we were happy for the option of an early breakfast. We were especially surprised about how pet friendly the hotel is, our dog even got his own blanket, food bowl and a bag of treats!
Very good hotel for a 1 night layover at Helsinki airport. Good bed, nice room, breakfast is excellent! Friendly staff and check-in check out very quick and easy through the pre-check in online. Free shuttle bus. Big thank you to the shuttle driver who made the effort driving me to the airport entrance, because of my broken leg.
The room and facilities were exactly as described, and it worked really well as a nearby overnight stop before an early flight from Helsinki Airport. It's only 19 minutes drive from the airport parking. The hosts gave us privacy when we arrived, and also communicated really well via messages before our stay.
Access arrangements provided by access PIN codes sent in advance of the visit by SMS message, this worked well.

If you need an airport hotel close to the Helsinki Airport, this is a great option. It's a short walk into the terminal (less than 5 minutes). Rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is included; it's in line with every other Scandic hotel I've stayed at.
I booked this for an overnight stay as it was close to the airport. The hotel was great and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. It was right next to the train station, which goes straight into Helsinki city. Really convenient.
The hotel was close to the AirPort , but on the other sende of the Terminal. A long taxidrive around so that alltogether it became an expensive . I’ll not ise Finnaire again unless I’m visiting Helsinki. And not this hotel.
