The isolated island is served by the small FinFerry boat "Chery" on the Nauvo Transverse Route and by the bigger "Falkö" on the Nauvo Southern route. It is quite important to call before 4pm on the previous day! If the schedule doesn't fit, taxi boat can be arranged by the helpful hosts.

He even picked me up from Porvoo bus station when he learned I'm coming by public transport and drove me back there when leaving (the property is a bit outside of the town). This little old fairytale house is one of the coziest and most charming places I have ever stayed at. Besides having everything needed, it significantly added to the overall experience of my trip.

Breaktfast was superb, the shuttle bus to airport worked very well. Unfortunately, we had a very tight schedule between the flights so we had no time to take it easy, but it was a very good idea to stay at scandic overnight between the flights.

Everything was great : the staff, the room and the downstairs restaurant. Breakfast starts at 4am which was a nice surprise as we had an early morning flight and the free shuttle to the airport was an amazing bonus.
The hotel is surrounded by other hotels and businesses. Not attractive to walk. But the shuttle bus to the airport is great.
Fabulous place in peaceful surroundings with beautiful scenery. The lake shore and jetty are in good condition and easy to swim from. There is a great outdoor fireplace with nice views. The cabin has everything necessary and plenty of room. Can highly recommend Katve!
The little wooden huts inside the bigger industrial-feeling building really give the whole guesthouse an interesting vibe; I can’t say these two things really fit together, but it definitely is interesting; Host was still very welcoming as I checked in very late; Location is great in connection to transports - right besides the train station and within walking distance to city’s center; I do appreciate the cozy-ness that the wood and the many carpets bring;
It's a beautiful wooden cabin with a separate community bathromm and enough space for a few days. Every room has a refrigerator, microwave, water boiler and dishes with some cutlery. Our room and the bathroom were clean and very cozy. It's a good place to stay if you want to go hiking in the south or in the east.
The tranquillity of this place is beyond amazing. The cabin itself is well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is so easy to relax and worry about nothing when after a walk in the forest or on the lake, you come back to the cabin and have a little fire in a fireplace. Everything in this place is peaceful. The owners are wonderful and always happy to help. The area is lovely and easy to get to. I would not change a thing in this place.
