Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. The intricately carved Dragon Gate is built on the steep hills of the Sleeping Beauty Forest Reserve, so named because of its resemblance to a reclining maiden. Legend has it that a little fish jumped over the gate and turned into a dragon, hence the belief that this site brings success. Whether or not the legend’s true, the views from the top are worth the climb.
