The location is absolutely one of a kind. This is the perfect place with young children cause they can play on the beach right in front of the hotel. The sea is like a pool and perfect for kids to play in. Laura and Nayara made our stay amazing. The girls are very welcoming and make you feel like home. Would really recommend this place!

Beautiful property right by the beach. Natalia (the host) is amazing and has looked after us very well. The breakfast is also delicious. The room is basic bus comfortable (loved small details like mosquito nets in the door so that you have a light breeze and hear the ocean, without being bitten).

Pousada Lagamar, sited in the idyllic Ilha Grande, is just in front Lagamar Lagoon, an offer comfortable accommodation with views.

Booked this Pousada because of it’s idyllic location and so called hospitality. However practically our whole stay we could not have breakfast in our stay. We had to walk for 10 min through the jungle to another cheaper Pousada with no idyllic view at all. Only the last morning of check out, breakfast was served in our hotel. Seeing what we could have had in the past days was so frustrating. We asked several times for help with planning our tours / hikes but they were very short in replies probably due to the language barrier. However google translate can help you a long way right…?! The lack of effort to help us out, frustrated us the most because we were really in a remote location, dependent on the Pousada to make the best of our days.

Very gentle staff, extremely acommodating ! Arrived during a storm and was severely delayed, but I was picked up by Alan who was very courteous, polite and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was very nice with a view of Ilha Grande. Recommend watching the sunrise as well! And try the kayaks to go around to the smaller, hidden beach.

Very good location, first line in a little village with a nice beach. Was quiet and beautiful. Diego and Jessica are extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was perfect.
