Lovely weekend away with the Werribee Mansion hotel a quick 2 minute travel to the zoo and a 5-10 minute travel to the city centre with a range of restaurants, bars and pubs, however, most importantly to unwind with the on site spa, gardens and on site restaurant, this is a place to book for a week or weekend and never have to leave the grounds!
Mother’s Day weekend and we were so looking forward to a lovely dinner in Joseph’s restaurant for our stay at Werribee Mansion! My-oh-my, it was anything but!
Frances T’eo listened to my explanation regarding our appalling dining experience, and the pool safety concerns I had, and was genuinely concerned, thank you, Frances.
More than anything, I hope the poor communication between staff and whatever issues they were experiencing is addressed for the dining experience of all future customers.
Beautiful gardens with lots to see and explore, some interesting things to do including the library & pool table near concierge. Paid tours of the Werribee mansion also available at the location.

We have stayed a number of times at the Werribee Mansion and love it. The grounds and convenience of a number of beautiful attractions makes it a perfect spot.
The location was perfect for visiting Werribee Open Plains Zoo and the Historic Werribee Mansion attached to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and well appointed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pool is huge and all facilities were very clean. The price included breakfast.
We enjoyed our room, the bed, and all of the facilities (pool, billiards room, and breakfast room). Staff were friendly. Location was nice, as it was right next to Werribee Mansion, and only a short stroll to the Victorian Rose Garden. Also, Werribee open range zoo was a very short drive. Town, for dinner, wasn't far either
Loved the parsley body wash and the view. The receptionists were lovely and breakfast was great. Close to Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee Mansion, Werribee Pacific Plaza, Pancake Parlour and not far to the Vic Market.
