Another stay at this great little motel, right in the heart of Bendigo with a few minutes’ walk to Bendigo’s Art Gallery and beautiful Rosalind Park. Spotlessly clean and comfortable,reasonably priced and with great attention to detail, it was warm despite freezing temperatures outside. Can’t wait to return!
Very comfortable and spacious townhouse, very quiet and a great location. Just a short walk to arts precinct, Rosalind Park and shopping area. Generous provisions provided such as fresh bread, buns & cakes, good selection of coffees and teas.
Awesome location on View St within walking distance of theatres, shops and cafes, and Rosalind Park. Free wifi, free room-specific parking (no-one can take your spot!), and all you can need for a quick weekend stop.

The staff at Hotel Ernest are exceptionally pleasant and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated and kept, and the location was fantastic. Located right next to the Bendigo Art Gallery, Pall Mall and Rosalind park, it was easy to walk anywhere you wanted to see, and there are a multitude of cafes, shops, etc right out the door.
Every part of the stay was lovely, and my partner and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
We could not have been more delighted with our stay. Our host anticipated everything and sent helpful tips ahead of time. The home was spotless and personal touches really elevated the welcome. Oh and the views! Bliss. A perfect base for our time in Bendigo...and so nice to be able to leave the car 'at home' for strolls to Rosalind Park and along View Street.
