Very interesting.
Very interesting. One tip: make sure you are dressed properly under your jacket because I was not and flashed everyone around me when security insisted I take off my hoodie, mortifying my daughter but delighting the public.

Quite rude really, was there on invitation for a national apology, was directed out to lawns despite ample indoor seating clearly visable on screen available, heavy police presence was a little detracting from the atmosphere and upsetting for some other guests. Was a nice lunch and we enjoyed a few tunes from Daryl Braithwaite and the Sherbet crew , bags with commerative tokens etc but not fantastic given personal expense and time taken to travel for guests.

Excellent in all aspects, really happy.
Staff at the desk really good, and helpful. The guest app made comings and goings easy.
I came to visit a friend on a budget and was able to easily see Floriade from this location.
It is walking distance to bus, shops, supermarket, restaurants, extremely convenient.
Also went on a mission to Parliament House to drop a letter to the PM
The location was excellent. We didn’t have a car, so it was great to be able to walk to lots of restaurants and shops.
It was a short ride to old and new parliament house
This is lovely old hotel. It's comfortable and friendly. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are excellent. The parking is easy. It is centrally located. You can easily walk to the art gallery, old parliament house, etc. We walked over to Kingston for lunch. I have stayed here before and will certainly stay here again.
Meriton Suites Canberra CBD is a very comfortable stay. We had an upper floor 3 bedroom Apartment which looked over Lake Burley Griffin and Parliament House. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and located a short walk from shopping, restaurants and the Canberra Theatre. We were a group of friends travelling to see a show at the theatre, and the beds were split to accommodate us as we had requested in our booking. There is a balcony off the lodge room with table and chairs suitable for enjoying wine and cheese after a day of exploring.
Close to Parliament House so location was good for us. I liked the design of the building with the rooms on the outside (facing inwards) and the restaurant open air in the middle. Created a cool atmosphere.
Close proximity to restaurants, cafes and shops.
Breakfast, delightful and value for money next door.
Easy walking to Lake Burley Griffin and beyond to Parliament House etc.
Great location (walking distance to Parliament house, national gallery, etc. Interesting history which is showcased throughout the hotel. Room was small but comfortable with everything you need. I will definitely stay here again when I'm next in Canberra.
