    Now the Museum of Democracy.

Now the Museum of Democracy. So many hands-on aids to learning about Australian politics, including Warren Brown's videos about a key 'thing' linked to a Prime Minister, such as Fisher's metal lunch tin for taking down the mines. So graphic and interesting that I still remember many PM's through these stories about their possessions. PM Bruce's cigarette case and its connection to Ataturk......watch for more surprises.

This is lovely old hotel. It's comfortable and friendly. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are excellent. The parking is easy. It is centrally located. You can easily walk to the art gallery, old parliament house, etc. We walked over to Kingston for lunch. I have stayed here before and will certainly stay here again.

I loved the fire in the lounge, the friendly reception and staff, the historical black & white photos on the walls, the comfortable beds and selection of low and high pillows, comfortability of the room, the lit courtyard, the easy car parking and overall the proximity to the Portrait and National Galleries and old Parliament House which was walking distance.
