Cleanliness, size of the room and comfort exceptional
The attractions and the room we stayed in. We're both interested in fantasy and medieval adventures, Kryal castle definitely hit the spot for our likes.
My family have stayed many times at Kryal Castle and enjoy the changing themes every school holidays. It never disappoints in entertainment and the on-site accomodation just tops off the experience.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Kryal Castle. A novelty to stay at a location like this and we loved walking around whilst all the guests were gone. Room was pretty standard, but had everything you needed for a one night stay. About 10-15 min drive to central Ballarat. A good alternative for families looking for something different.
We stayed at this motel overnight to attend a wedding at Kryal Castle . It was 10 minutes drive to the wedding venue and served the purpose. It was clean and comfortable for our very brief stay.
The room was of the standard one would expect of a typical Australian motor inn. The linen was fresh and the beds were neatly made. In terms of location, Victoriana Motor Inn is very well situated. It is about a 5 min drive to Sovereign Hill, on the right side of Ballarat for easy access to Kryal Castle, and there is a supermarket and very nice wood-fired takeaway pizzeria about 4-5 mins walk away.

The heater stopped working however in day8ngbthat I just messaged the staff and they rectified it while we were out for the day so the room was lovely and warm on our return from our event. Being Ballarat we were very grateful for the prompt response in fixing the problem. We also had a wood fired pizza from the provodore the im nit sure if belongs to the motel. Was lovely and convenient
Central location to all Ballarat amenities. Safe and secure parking. Clean, modern, MASSIVE open plan room with super comfy beds and couch and kitchen facilities. Large bathroom - excellent water pressure plus hand bars and a seat inside the shower for people with mobility issues. Friendly and warm customer service at reception desk. We highly recommend The Menzies in Ballarat.. A short not even 10-minute drive to Kryal Castle and less than 10 minutes to Sovereign Hill. A*****
Breakfast was extremely helpful. Cafe next door was great for an early morning on line class that I needed to attend. Location was close to kryal castle and wildlife park. Staff were super helpful, accommodating and friendly.
