What a gem! The room was funky and interesting and the bed super comfy. Loved the drinks in gimlet, the complimentary goodies in our room and the coffee and pastries next morning. Appreciated the phone call to allow an early check in also. Won’t stay anywhere else if we are lucky enough to visit Freo again.

Aurea Hotel was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a freshly made latte and cappuccino while waiting for our room to be ready. (We arrived a little early.) We had a delicious dinner at the hotel complemented by a glass or two of local wine. After a very comfortable nights sleep, we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant. The server was able to organise a meal which was slightly different to what was on the menu. My husband greatly enjoyed his big breakfast!
We would happily stay again at Aurea Hotel and would recommend it highly to friends visiting from Melbourne.

The apartment was lovely, not too small and not too big but just enough space to be comfortable! Beds were comfy and could have slept 4 easily, all rooms were clean and spacious. Excellent location in the heart of Freo, close to plenty of restaurants and shops plus the ferry terminal and Fremantle markets are just a short walk away! Would definitely stay here again! 10/10 would recommend!!
Located at the edge of the Fremantle Markets, the beautifully and respectfully restored Warders Cottages connect the past with the present, balancing modern luxuries with heritage features. A mini-bar filled with complimentary soft drinks, beer and wine, chocolate and crisps on arrival, and fresh lemons and limes; still and sparkling water on tap; complimentary coffee and pastry for breakfast and the most beautiful, generous staff.
The staff were great, so friendly and helpful with recommendations of the area, places to eat etc. Tons of break out areas, cool interiors/exteriors and located next to the prison you can visit for the day. Free sunscreen, and drinks to buy, as well as the free breakfast pancakes were all nice extra touches and not expected. Great location, close to the Fremantle markets, coffee shops, restaurants, Little Creatures brewery.
The best thing about this unit was the very close proximity to the Fremantle Markets which is the major reason I chose to stay there and there was parking provided on site as street parking is at a premium always. On the weekends Fremantle is a busy bustling vibrant precinct with loads of restaurants, cafes, bars to enjoy. The unit was light and airy spotlessly clean and well equipped with a tiny balcony.
Excellent location for accessing good cafes/restaurants, ferry to Rottnest island and the Fremantle markets. Very easy and straightforward check in/check out with attentive staff. Quiet rooms and nice to have a separate living area/kitchen to the bedroom rather than a studio. Good to have a washing machine and dryer.
Location was fantastic, near restaurants, Fremantle markets, ferry terminal. In fact did not need to use the car at all. Apartment was ideal for four adults. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and well appointed kitchen.
Great location, a bit noisy with the bar next door but nothing ear plugs didn't fix. Room was alot bigger than expected. Great location. Easy and quick walk with luggage from train station - I got the train from the airport. Close to bars, restaurants, cafes. Easy walk to Little Creatures, Fremantle Markets and Quay for cruises along Swan River and Rottnest island. Also easy walk to IGA. Would happily stay here again
Richard and his family were a pleasure to deal with. He made us feel very welcome. The complimentary wine was enjoyed! Also holding our bags after checkout until our afternoon flight, was very much appreciated. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. It is an excellent choice for travelling as a group or family. The location is brilliant for seeing Fremantle. It is walking distance to main attractions such as the Fremantle Markets, bars and restaurants.
