The location is absolutely beautiful and there is something in walking distance for everyone. Beach, Pub, café, ice cream shop, bakery, gift shops. The inn is beautiful and Shana and Bruce have thought of everything even umbrellas in the entrance for guests in case of rain. The rooms are clean and big. Our room came with a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The fridge already had cream and milk ready for guests. They truly went the extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable

This Gatineau Park, Quebec country-style inn is a 30-minute drive to Ottawa. The hotel features a full spa, outdoor river pool and hot tub.

The Wakefield Mill Inn and Spa offers a lounge area with fireplace and view of the MacLaren Falls. Guests can dine in The Wakefield Lounge, which features French cuisine.

What a nice 2 night stay at Wakefield mill. We had 2 deluxe rooms in the main Mill building. The rooms were very comfortable, rustic and had lots of space. We had a lovely view over the river. We had lunch and dinner at the Heron bistro, the food was excellent. We had breakfast at the main restaurant and it was also excellent, with attention to presentation. The staff in general was very welcoming and friendly. The General Manager came to speak with us the first morning of our stay and recommended some local walks in Wakefield town. Two members of our party had a massage at the spa, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't try the outside spa, however, it looked really welcoming by the river. The outdoors facilities are really nice, with the red Adirondack chairs and the gardens. We will absolutely return if we are in this area.

Lots of charm with the old timbers and wonderful arrangement of space both in room and common area. The breakfast was delicious and location very close to Wakefield where we enjoyed valentines dinner the previous night.

The room was nice with comfortable beds. I liked that the hotub and pool were close by and open until 11pm. The outside spa area is also super cute at nighttime, and there are many things to do around the hotel since it was in such a great area.

Spacious room, elegantly furnished with very comfortable beds. The common spaces (kitchen, sitting room) were bright, beautiful and cozy. Chris made a wonderful breakfast which we enjoyed in the garden. It was a treat!

We spent 3 days here to celebrate our anniversary. Wonderful location and view from balcony. Very peaceful surroundings with a wonderful variety of birds. It is the perfect place to relax and regenerate. Greatly appreciated that there was no noise from music or TV. Very clean. Elegant decore. Chelsea is nearby, and we highly recommend visiting Nordik spa in Chelsea.

The location is outstanding with a beautiful view and access to eco-park trails. The apartment was easy to access with a code entry. The instructions in the apartment were very clear about the use of the hot tub spa and it was a pleasant experience (especially with the blue jays and other birds visiting the backyard). The kitchen has good quality appliances and was stocked with a good amount of cutlery and crockery The apartment was extremely clean.

Beautiful large room with a great view, bang for buck I'd say. I booked us the king superior lodge. THey had a rather large bathtub in the room which faced the giant windows. Made for a very romantic and decadent stay.
