We fell in love with this hotel! The place is exceptionally beautiful. The little dinner in the restaurant was lovely. We had a rainy day and did not use the swimming pools, but we will definitely return. The place is stunning.

Our room was very quiet, beds were cozy, shower with excellent water pressure. Highly recommended if you want to experience this vibrant and charming border town at the river Minho.

Fabulous hotel.. we had dinner and the hotel. All was amazing. Rooms were all well set up. Plenty space and very clean.
The pool was lovely, a bit cool but I did stay at the beginning of April. The hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
The guest house was on the Camino de Santiago. We had full use of the dining area in the main house. Raquel did our laundry.
I liked the exceptional attention of the manager. She ensured that I had everything I needed and got me to a nice restaurant (and back!) for dinner. The breakfast was delicious and she took care of me like a family member. The area is rural and so beautiful and just a block off the Camino. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler and I couldn’t have been happier!!
Great location, beautiful property with a pool, lovely owners who are kind and generous, they can tell you everything you need about the camino, you can order and eat homemade dinner together with all the guests 👍
We booked this hotel for our Camino. Straight away as we stepped in the hotel we felt that it was a special place. The receptionist was very welcoming. Our room was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the balcony where we could easily dry our clothes. We appreciated that the receptionist offered to get the sauna ready for us which was a lovely treat after a long day of walking. We even had dinner at the hotel and the bar tender was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was also very nice and there was good selection of options
The lady was kindness from heaven- arrived wet and she gave me warm dry clothes. It was a little off the main route and not sure on getting food- And then she offered a cooked dinner! Lovely wood fire. Never enjoyed a warm meal so much- fabulous.
Wow. Beautiful property. Lovely owners. Feed us dinner. Food was all delicious. The room had a kettle to make tea. Bathroom was large and spacious.
So very special to stay here in this old stone 1 bedroom home which was tastefully modernized. Well equipped with a nice little kitchen and modern bathroom. Good heaters. A fireplace with the wood. Luisa provided a cake and everything we needed for breakfast and all over again for day 2. Gated parking compound. We ate dinner one day at the pizza place which was good. Loved the scenic winding drive to the Penede church. Amazing stay and beautiful area.
Unique location with a spectacular view. Rustic rooms with comfy beds where it stays nice and cool. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool invites you to relax. Very good breakfast and dinner with home-grown products. The house wine is highly recommended. We took a bottle with us for the rest of our trip. We would come again at any time! Thank you for a fabulous stay.
