This was the best guest house we stayed in while in Portugal. Everything was perfect. The house was pristine, the staff were charming, the location overlooking the marina was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent.
One of the best hotel I visited, so far. The whole property is incredible, the staff so nice and helpful. The dinner in their Restaurant Arcades is amazing and you have to try it!

Great venue that was renovated to keep its historic charm but provides all the modern conveniences such as AC, rain shower, TV. Breakfast area and food is phenomenal, atmosphere not comparable to any other place I’ve stayed before. We only stayed one night so didn’t have sufficient time to walk the farm and as we stayed beginning of April, we did not use the pool. We will definitely come back - Oryza is on my list to make a detour when we’ll be next in PT.
Clean and comfortable guest house, quite new and very functional. Excellent hosts, very friendly family happy to give advice on the area. We ate dinner in the kitchen and was excellent on both occasions. Breakfast also very good. Location about 20-30 minutes from lots of vineyards and other things to do. Shared areas are comfortable too.
Quaint property with rustic charm. We were the only guests in the town, very bucolic. The owner was most hospitable and his wife prepared a delicious dinner just for us.
The position of the guest house gives you a fantastic view down to the Douro Valley. The shared dinners turned out to be so interesting with all the guests from different countries talking and laughing together in whichever language suited best!
Room was on a busy street that was also undergoing major road work. Loud and dusty but sometimes that happens while traveling. Can’t blame the hotel owner for this. Sara, the innkeeper was very efficient.
Located in a very quiet countryside area but only 0.4 miles from a recently renovated huge square which is right in front of Tomar central train station. The innkeeper (Luis Ferreira) always made sure that the guests were happy and that nothing was missing for a pleasant stay.
