No onsen but you can enjoy a bath in the bathroom This bnb has 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 huge living room. It is not near the sea but near the inatori station. Actually I think this bnb is best for a family with two children or for friends of 4. Then you can order 2 rooms( thus the entire bnb) and feel free to have parties using the living room and the kitchen. I was solo traveler and the other guest in the other room is the same. Me and the other guest kept everything quiet and went out early went back late lol kind of wasting the facilities this house offered.
Iwata
Tabist IWATA Station Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property and rooms with air conditioning in Iwata. The property is around 15 km from Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, 13 km from Hamamatsu Station and 14 km from Ecopa Arena. The inn features family rooms. It's a simple but clean and comfortable hotel. Crew is friendly. We were visiting some parents therefore we stayed in the hotel just to sleep and have shower which worked really well. There is no parking in the hotel but the are several paid parking just in front and nearby with accessible price. There is also the main metro line down the street. I recommend to the ones who needs to visit the city and don't want to spend a lot in hosting.
Kona

The room itself is like an apartment room, with a living area, large fridge and eating area. The pension is one large building separated into 4 separate rooms on the top floor. The pension has a lovely large sized communal bath and shower, which you have to schedule use for earlier in the day. The heated rug is lovely.
Terumi-san is a wonderful host who called a dozen bike shops to help me find the right spare part that would allow me to continue my cycling journey. I was amazed she would do that for me. I loved the guest house too, traditional style tatami room, all facilities a solo teaveller needs too, quiet neighbourhood and supermarket nearby.
Fantastic peaceful location in the hillside with magnificent Onsen & beautiful views of the town morning through evening. Great amenities such as tea coffee selection and comfortable accommodation. Dinner and breakfast were both magnificent in terms of presentation and quality of food. Truly memorable and exceptional. I’d highly recommend this place for a tranquil, traditional style Onsen stay.
The hotel is well designed. Love the room I stayed in with Fuji view. Dinner at Robata Oyama restaurant is highly recommended. There are onsen, spa, pool and gym facilities within the hotel and the gym facilities are very good. The hotel offers a 30-minute simulator experience for guests, which is interesting.
1) Located just facing the Seaview, great waking up to the splendid view. 2) full board provision, breakfast and dinner had great variety of food, restaurant staff were hospitable. Bento was provided for lunch
Friendly & professional staff We had the corner room for 3 pax so was spacious. Love the in-room onsen! It was sea facing so thr soak was a marvelous experience The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and full of variety. Excellent all round
It is extremely close to Shizuoka station. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff were very professional. Rooms were a good size and great views over the city. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant and the restaurant was beautiful and the meal was exceptional.
my dear friends, the view from the window is gorgeous. I just wanted to sit in my room and not go anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and even the not sunny weather did not spoil the impressions. luxurious dinner in Japanese style. good breakfast - in the room! 👍😃 room so big. But, better have the car. Without car will dificalt. But you will sleep with ocean view and wake up with sunrise... very polite staff, always ready to help you. enjoy, dear friends
The Pension Sakura owner, Yamamoto san, is so warm and helpful. Both he and Mrs. Yamamoto made you really feel at home.The room is good for the price, very airy and comfortable. The family bathroom is such a treat. Breakfast is so delicious, just regret that we did not reserve dinner at the Pension. That must be marvellous. Arigato gozaiimus, Yamamoto san!
Couple is too sweet. They made our stay more comfortable. Owner came with car to drop us at dinner place as we where new to the place. So kind of them. Respect 🙏🏻 They have really good english.
