Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. Shiraishi-jima Port is 10 minutes walk from the property, while Kasaoka Station is a 50-minute ferry ride away and Fukuyama Station is an hour away by ferry and train. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We really enjoyed our stay at International Villa on this small, but beautiful island. The view is absolutely worth it’s price and the room was clean and modern furnished. The house offers everything you need, there is a shared space outside as well as an living room and a spacious kitchen. If you plan to cook, you won’t miss anything. Also the check-in went easy an the manager was very friendly and kind.
Bizen
Situated in Bizen, 25 km from Bizen Fukuoka Folk Museum, ペンションみかんの郷 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The food is very good! Can recommend also for dinner!
Highlight must be the buffet dinner which has amazing variety with quality. Can make your own hotpot with 4 different types of broth (Sukiyaki, Yuzu etc). Best breakfast buffet. My daughter had her first Ping pong experience and she enjoyed it.

The building is beautiful even in the beginning of spring. During summer I imagine it to be even lovelier when you can sit outside in the courtyard. It was very quiet and relaxing everywhere, and the staff was so helpful. I loved the public bath, and I am so grateful I could enter despite having a couple of big tattoos.
The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem
This Inn is perfectly located if you want to travel to the Art Island, right next to the pier. Also the staff was great and welcoming and they had a really great coffee all day long. Nice touch - the photo of you they can do and send you later via email as a reminder of a great time. Definitely can recommend.
The free breakfast and dinner is okay. The taste is not bad and they prepare good japanese breakfast with soup, salad and fruits together with the main course. This s the old hotel since we only stayed for one night is okay with us. Many complain about the hotel condition, but it is fair enough and you can not expect everything as we wish with the price they offer, you get what you pay. They only need to clean up the room better than before.
Very convenient location on edge of historical area and easy walking from both the station and interesting places to visit. Also close to plenty of places for lunch and dinner. And the complementary afternoon tea was a delightful treat and great fun!
Staff all spoke English and were super accomodating. They were very helpful with booking dinner reservations and making us a take-away breakfast when we had to check out before breakfast was served. It had a really nice laid back vibe. Even the owner was involved in the customer care and was very amenable and informative!
