Lancaster
Set in Lancaster, 7.4 km from Trough of Bowland, The Stork Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. This 3-star inn offers free WiFi. The inn features family rooms. The property has been sympathetically renovated after a fire in 2020. it still has a wonderful pub ‘feel’ but the rooms are tasteful and (without exaggerating) one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I could not see a cobweb or mark anywhere. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderfully appointed for the price with a nespresso machine and a great range of tea and coffee. Again, I’ve stayed in more expensive properties that don’t have this.

Historic inn in small village convenient for Darmoor and coast, very friendly and quaint .
The property is in a very nice neighborhood, very well connected to all main areas of London by tube/bus. Also, there is a nice tavern close it where you can eat dinner/drink some beers after a long day. Staff is very responsive and very helpful.
Central location, car park, really lovely traditional English inn. Even with the city centre location, and a jazz night one night, it was still lovely and quiet and we slept great. We spent two nights, I was plenty to do in Chichester. The breakfast at the Chichester Inn were amazing and would recommend a visit to the park Tavern in the city centre.
A historic inn in a quiet location next to the Thames river. The beds were comfortable and even the standard rooms are large enough, while the night was quiet, with only birds chirping at the sunrise. The staff was kind and the breakfast was quite good, with the famous English breakfast available, though some fresh vegetables and hot chocolate options were lacking to make it perfect. Parking at the property is available too.
Everything about the guest house and its environs was wonderful, and perfect for a one night stop-over before visiting Old Trafford to witness an epic FA Cup quarter final the following day where United came out worthy winners :)
I have stayed at Innkeepers Maidstone on a few occasions and I always find the stay very comfortable
Interesting old house sympathetically converted into a pleasant guest house. The antidote to bland travel inns! Friendly and welcoming host. My room, traditionally furnished, was comfortably large enough for an easy stay of three nights. Good bathroom with powerful shower. Everything spotlessly clean and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Good breakfast. Easy parking. If you have an electric car then the Tesla and Applegreen charging station at Birchanger Green is just a couple of miles away - I used it twice.
Lovely historic inn, comfy room and super friendly staff.
Lovely rustic shabby chic historic inn, located in a picturesque village looking up at the North Downs. Staff very enthusiastic, attentive and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the chef's innovative and original dishes were worth the trip. Make sure you dine there, although you might want to avoid some of the noisier tables with happy diners having a fun time. Room was large and comfortable with view of the church and the bus stop for Staines.
