This Middletown inn is 10 minutes’ walk from fishing and boating in the Connecticut River and Wesleyan University is 5 minutes’ walk away. This hotel has an elegant décor complete with an on-site pool and hot tub.

The on-site restaurant is the Tavern at the Armory and it serves American cuisine that is inspired by the New England region. There is also a fitness centre and free Wi-Fi.

Outstanding service. Especially front desk and morning restaurant hostess. But everyone was kind, professional, accommodating. Truly impressive.

    Loved the location and food at the tavern. Room had updated decor and the dual shower head and lighted mirror in bathroom was a real plus.

    1. Owner/staff was very accommodating when we arrived later than planned. He even helped us bring luggage to our room. 2. Room was clean, A/C worked great, very large TV, beds were comfortable. 3. Proximity of inn to wedding we were attending was very close. 4. Indian restaurant directly next to Inn, with great food. 5. Room rate was reasonable.

    The Inn at MIddletown exceeded our expectations. It has been renovated and rooms are pretty big and well equipped. Location is perfect, close to Wesleyan University and restaurants and shops.

    right downtown, east walk to campus and businesses. the restaurant at the inn was spectacular, Ernest food cooked correctly. great service. looking forward to my next chance to visit
