No breakfast. Roaches in bathroom. Bathroom door kicked in and hook on back of door fell out. Extensive water damage with peeling paint on ceiling above shower. Desk chair had a spilled greasy substance on it. Mirrors smudged. Carpet dirty. Hair in bathroom. Dirt on walls.

We did not eat at the hotel. It was a clean, dated room. The bed was comfortable and the thermostat worked well along with the fridge. One of the few hotels I've stayed at since the pandemic that actually had maid service each day!
The staff was nice but they seem to be severely understaffed. The gym was pretty good and well kept. There was a restaurant onsite and staff was nice but not enough of them. They did find me a quiet room in the hotel as requested.
The Inn at MIddletown exceeded our expectations. It has been renovated and rooms are pretty big and well equipped. Location is perfect, close to Wesleyan University and restaurants and shops.

The rate should be $50.00 or less because it's an outdated old hotel that needs remodeling. I had cob webs hanging in the walls and bathroom trim has dirt and crud to be cleaned out.
we got what we paid for in a no frill hotel. it had 2 queen beds. got in about 3 am left at 10. no tissues. dirty room. no food. great place if you just need a bed and nothing else
very comfortable beds , convenient location and clean and good prices. Staff is super friendly. Also love they give you several pillows which many hotels do not.
Location was great as we needed to be near Goodspeed and a downtown area. Plenty of places to eat outside of the hotel. Personnel at hotel were lovely.
