Everything is done remotely through an App. At the beginning I was skeptical but it worked out perfectly. We were even able to check in earlier. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. I would recommend staying here for your visit in Salzburg, everything is pretty accessible. For example, you can walk to the old town - taking you around 20min or less by public transport.

Staff were warm and welcoming and gave me ideas for restaurants and tourist sites. I arrived early and they let me check into an available room. They called a taxi for me when I needed to return to the train station. Wirsthaus Elefant next door was delicious for lunch and dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious spread of eggs, meats, toast, cereal, espresso machine, juice machine

Check in and Check out was quick, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, they even provided me with a Salzburg Card to be able to attain quick access to all the attractions and museums without needing to wait in queue. The Hotel was in a a great location just 15 min walk to the city center and old town. The food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were delicious and the beds were very comfortable. The pension is located in a farm in a countryside neighborhood, and is easily reachable with the train from Salzburg, or even walking in 45 min. The family who takes care of the pension is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, with natural products from surrounding farms. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. I highly recommend.

Had a fabulous stay at Pension Katrin. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. My room was immaculate and cleaned daily. Breakfast was superb, with so much variety is was difficult to choose! Located just a 20 minute easy walk from the centre, I'd definitely stay here again and can't wait to go back. Some beautiful walks nearby too and a Spar just a 5 minute walk away for any forgot essentials. Good pizza restaurant a few minutes walk away.

I loved staying here. Visiting Salzburg was very impromptu so I only booked for one night before moving on to Vienna. I wish I had stayed another night at the very least, and the Guest House was a big reason for this. It’s a stunning place. Huge rooms, a very nice fresh breakfast with, I believe, fresh and local ingredients. A nice chapel which overlooks the church. Very helpful staff with clear instructions as to what to do if you arrive out of hours. Thank you all.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable. Delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed borrowing the free bicycles from the guest house. There are nice bicycle lanes next to the river. The hotel is located a bit away from the city center, but the area was quiet and picturesque. Good parking. You have an option of eating lunch/dinner at the property's restaurant or ordering drinks and enjoying them on the outside terrace.

If you are ok with walking, then the location is very central - 10 mins walk to Hanger 7 in one direction and about 20 mins walk to down town from the other direction. Free parking was provided by the guest house. There was also a mini self-service corner for drinks and small snacks for a small fee on the 1st floor. We also had a vey satisfying dinner at the guesthouse restaurant.
