If rustic farm style, fresh air, and nature's tranquillity are important, this is the place for you. We have established an arboretum (a botanical garden consisting of trees), which includes two hundred and twenty olive trees, twenty-five milkwood trees, and others such as bush willows, yellow wood, cape ash, wild fig, lots of citrus and almond trees, etc. All trees are well established and provide valuable shade and habitat for all kinds of birds. Animals such as mongooses, genets, African wild cats, and porcupines also frequent our property, testing our well-mannered sheepdog's property protection skills to the hilt. In the morning you might be woken by the sound of a cock crowing or a train rambling by. Bicycles are available and various walking trails start close by. A farm-style splash pool is available for use. The WF Jones Art studio is also situated on the property, and you might elect to see him in action. Koringberg is a small village with few amenities and lots of nothing 😊 Enjoy the walking trails nearby, including negotiating the Koringberg, overlooking our small town. Easy access to the West Coast which is approximately 70 km from here. The new boutique hotel, Marrian George, has recently opened and serves breakfast and dinner from Wednesdays to Sundays. Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed at our nearby Desert Rose Farm Stall. They also have various farm products available.
