We visited most of the sites to be seen, cellars with wine tasting, brewery, hairdresser, antique shop where I made the most wonderful purchases, drove to Yzerfontein and thoroughly enjoyed a walk on the beach. Visited all the shops in Darling and had a wonderful time at Evita se peron - what a call back the past experience. I would definitely recommend Darling and the Darling Guest House to any and everyone who has not been there before.

    Bookings.com.

Bookings.com. I felt the price was to high for this house as they owner lives right next to the property whereby you can hear her right next door. no privacy as we felt restricted not to make any noise, very invasive.

Small town with some big hits - Darling Brew Tasteroom, at least 3 fantastic wine farms to visit (Darling Cellars, Groote Post and Ormonde), world class restaurants! We were in Darling for the Vine to Hop Trail race and should have stayed extra nights

The Mystery Trail from the Darling Museum is a MUST DO!

The Mystery Trail from the Darling Museum is a MUST DO! It was informative and exciting and we could choose where we wanted to stop for a drink, eat or just take in the view. Ormonde was amazingly peaceful, and the other clues took us through beautiful roads of flowers, churches, trees and gardens etc. Roosterbrood makes the best cheesy/garlic roosterbrood as well as the best fried chips and chicken strips! Evita se Perron for the best sarmies and melktert and their own home made brew. Darling Sweet was well worth the visit. The people in Darling are SO friendly! It is an AMAZING town..I will definitely be back!

We were only there for a convenient overnight.

We were only there for a convenient overnight. As a town we thought Darling was not looking good. In fact getting a bit run down with pavements bad, and houses with unkept gardens. There was nothing that made us feel that we'd like to return.

This is a delightful small establishment in a quiet residential area of Darling, only a couple of blocks from shops and restaurants and with off -street parking. The proprietors were lovely - welcoming, friendly and great to chat to, and obviously keen to make our short stay as enjoyable as possible. We had a good night’s sleep, in a quiet room - simple but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, especially the local sausages and bacon. I would recommend staying here.

This house / property is under estimated - under-rated! When i saw the outside i was like O ok... looks like the pic. but when i went inside and explored the entire property it was a SUPER WOW factor for me and other guests. It's beautiful and really amazing.. Also felt like we were in Greece. I highly recommend this place to any holiday seeker wishing to visit Darling and im confident that i will be booking this place again soon.

The cottage was well appointed, clean and well thought out. It was tastefully decorated. The owner was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about her town and surrounds. The honesty bar was well stocked with local beer and wine. I particularly loved the Darling Cellars Chardonnay. Darling is a short drive from Yzerfontein which has a great swimming beach.

Conveniently located and easy to find, a short walk away from the centre of town. With the bad weather walking into town was unfortunately not an option during our stay. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Hosts were great, providing very useful info on the area ahead of time, with updates during our stay. High quality tasty breakfast provided.

I liked the coziness of the room and the kitchenette/couch area. I also liked the touch the gowns to use, it really helped when going to use the jacuzzi. Also the jacuzzi was a perfect temperature and very relaxing. Would have liked to have stayed for a longer period. The town of Darling is very peaceful and cute!
