The hotel is a small cute hotel and very clean. The hotel was on renovation when I arrived so the reception was a little dusty and the stairs were a bit messy. But, the hotel staff was very kind and helpful. He bought me water bottles and also helped to find me a taxi to the airport. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

The owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Every morning, we were met with a coffee and a great conversation with lots of local information and recommendations. The room and hotel has been recently refurbished and was very modern, clean and comfortable (the beds and shower were amazing!). The location was great, close to transport options and the old town attractions. I really cannot recommend Sand Door Hotel highly enough! Thank you for having us. We will definitely be back in the future!

Everithing is perfect. Very good owner and stuff. Very clean and comfortable room. Smells good and fresh. Just finished full reconstruction. Great location. 5 minutes walk to sea, 10 minutes Grand bazaar and all attractions and sights. Owner showed us the best places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Close to this Hotel, tens other hotels, but it is the best. You will see it, when you will stop there.. My next visit to Istanbul, I will stay only there. Owner is a very experienced hotel manager. Thats why everything is perfect in this hotel. One more thing. This hotel doesn't send their bedclothes to usual laundry, like most hotels do. They have their own small laundry, thats why towels and bedding are very clean, fresh and smell good.

The hotel is in a good location to walk to the blue mosque in 15/20 minutes. The rooms are small but comfortable and equipped with everything you need but the real strength are the managers, especially Ozhan, who did not fail to make us feel like good friends and always gave us useful tips and advice. The managers are currently renovating another part of the property which is almost ready, those who will stay in the next few weeks will find it even nicer.

Great location! About a 5 minute walk to the main bazaar, and close to the water. Many grocery stores near by and plenty of restaurants. The owners were fantastic, they go above and beyond!! My card wasn't working with the taxi on arrival, and the owner gave him cash for me to pay back later which I was SO grateful for. The rooms are newly renovated with a very comfortable bed. It's a small hotel worth the stay! Very affordable for what you get, highly recommend 😀

The hotel owners are gentlemen in the heart of Istanbul. They do all to make our trip comfortable. The location is near the tramp and Grand Bazar. There are many places near where you can eat.

Definitely the best place to stay in Istanbul, the room is very comfy room, it's well located and close to touristic sites in Istanbul. I really thank Özhan who was very helpful and kind, he accepted to change my booking and welcomed me very late at night, his advices were very important to me as a solo travel, I felt safe and secure in this hotel.
