The location of the apartment is great. Metro, bus, tram stations, shops, restaurants are a few minutes of walking distance. The neighbourhood is very calm and safe, although very close to Taksim, Galata and the centre. The apartment was very clean and you got everything you need. The host was very hospitable and available. Definitely would choose this place again.

The room was OK, not too small, there are teaspoons, a kettle, a fridge, which is very convenient. The AC worked fine. The sheets and towels are very clean and white. So is the bathroom. Hot water, electricity - available at any time. The WiFi exceeded my expectations. Very fast, stable connection. There are washing and drying machines but you have to buy your own detergent. No smoke smell whatsoever. The host is really nice and welcoming. Always available via whatsapp.

I stayed here for 5 nights - I loved my rooftop view! The studio was a perfect size for a solo traveller - plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable and there isn’t that much notice from the outside that you car hear, yet the location is very central and safe. George was also a very kind and helpful host and the workers were lovely also. The aircon worked very well and the wifi was fast (I worked from home).

George is a very nice and helpful guy - he met us when we've arrived to the building late at night and was always online in WhatsApp to answer questions big and small. Room contained everything we needed: a fridge, a cattle, cups and plates, a microwave. The hotel is located conveniently: not far from Istiklal street (but you have to climb uphill to get there) and near a tram and bus stations, from which you can easily get to historical center in 10 minutes. Also there is only one mosque around and it's far enough to not wake you up at 6am.

Great location with plenty of eateries and takeaway options nearby, comfortable room. Simple, clean and in a quiet street well away from the main road, yet very close to Tophane tram station from where you get straight to the historic sights. Great Pide at Yöremiz and Börek on the corner, on the way to Tophane.

Our room looked very similar to the photos on the website, so it was clean, well equipped (we even had a kitchenette, the bathroom had also a hairdryer and shampoo etc.) and decorated in a pleasing way. The AC worked as well, but we didn't need it. George always answered our questions in no time, which is pretty valuable in Istanbul/Turkey as the language barrier can make it hard to find reliable information, e.g. how to get to the airport and where to go for that. Compared to other rooms in the area, it seemed to be a bigger room. Also the street was unexpectedly nice and pretty (e.g. with lavender Café for breakfast), like the whole galata area, and seemed pretty safe for tourists, even at night. I would definitely recommend it!
