Tui Ridge Eco Cabins is located up a tree lined driveway in the middle of a kiwifruit orchard. Our cabins are solar powered. Wifi is available in the lounge free of charge. All cabins are private with garden and river views. Bed linen and towels are provided. The dining area is separate from the main house and there is a guest BBQ in the summer house. Tauranga is 25-minute drive from the property, while Waihi Beach and Mount Maunganui are 30-minute drive away. Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach is 2-hour drive away. Auckland International Airport is 104 mi from the property.

Company info

We live onsite and like to spend time with our animals and working in our garden. We grow our own vegetables and fruit which is shared with guests when in season. Our property has chickens, 1 cat, 2 horses and a dog called Meg that likes to greet guests on arrival.

Tui Ridge is located a short distance of State Highway 2 between Katikati and Tauranga. The property has a long gravel driveway and 3 of the cabins are located amongst a kiwifruit orchard. The family sized 'The Pines" cabin is at the start of the property We are eco friendly with our main source of energy being solar power. This means our cabins have 12 volt lighting and charging for phones only. There is no heating or air conditioning It is very important to read your booking confirmation to complete your booking and payment details. Prepayment is required The entire property is smoke free - this due to the extreme fire risk Please contact us for any booking requests or for further information

Neighborhood info

With a backdrop of the Kaimai Ranges there is lots of short walks and tramps within a 10 minute drive. Close by also is waterfalls, hot water swimming pools and giant Kauri trees. Lots of harbour access to launch small boats and safe swimming is also within a short drive. We are a easy 2 hour drive from Auckland airport. The beautiful Coromandel is within driving distance. Rotorua is just over an hour drive away and Hobbiton is also close by.
