The beach pod was my home for 11 months whilst I built my house so I know it is very comfortable and a tranquil, lovely space to be in. It has soft furnishings and has a beachy feel as you are right by the coast. It has it's own lovely deck to laze away time on with a good book. Tucked behind the house it is private and you have a view of the garden. It is a short 1 minute walk and you are on lovely Waiotahi Beach. The beach is great for swimming and fishing and the quiet neighbourhood means it is not crowded most of the year. There is also a great walk/cycleway that takes you along the beach to the Pipi beds where there is sheltered inner harbour swimming. The beach pod is a great place to rest and restore. You can make your time a real retreat from busy life and reset yourself while enjoying the space. There is off street parking right next to the pod, and free wifi.

Hi, I am a Yoga teacher and Energy Medicine practioner. As an add on to your stay on request I offer Reiki and Bodytalk as well as 1:1 Yoga. I love meeting new people, holding space for them whether in the form of having a safe comfortable place for them to stay in or to work closer with them during one of my sessions. I love learning and am forever adding to my tool box of knowledge. I also love the ⛱ beach, walking, cycling, and swimming. I love nature and people, so my job as a host is the perfect mix. I will leave you to your privacy whilst you stay but am here for you in any way I can to assist if needed. I will pop out to say hi too while you are here. 😁

The area is quiet most of the year with mostly holiday homes around. It is flat for easy cycling and walking, skateboarding or even roller skating. Opotiki township is a mere 4k's away for all your amenities. Motu trails run's a shuttle service to some of the best cycle tracks in NZ. The East Cape is just down the road and full of beautiful river spots and spectacular beaches if you feel like a drive. Ohiwa Harbour is 10 mins away and has an awesome walk through bush and up over farmland to spectacular views of Ohope beach. Waiotahi beach has a clear view of White Island and Whale Island.
