The whole park was absolutely stunning. The grounds were well kept, clean, spacious, the location is beautiful. The pool with hydro slides is an added bonus which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are amazing and very helpful. I really enjoyed this park will come back sooner rather than later. 💯

It just felt like home it was nice and cosy and warm loved it .it was better than staying in a motel and cheaper.will stay there again .There was off street parking and easy instructions on getting in .could not fault it .

It was peak season but the wait time at the restaurants was not too bad. We ate at Cadera and Moxi Cafe. I would recommend the jalapeno poppers and chili margaritas at Cadera and the keto breakfast at Moxi. All the food looked incredible at Moxi, I really wanted to try the cheese scone but resisted....

Ohope was great to stay at and we could drive to other areas during our stay and also there were some good restaurants to eat at which of course we did. Lots of areas to walk if you enjoy that type of holiday and of course the beach when it is nearer the summer. We went to the Cadera Mexican restaurant in Ohope and really enjoyed the food. We went twice to the Fishermans Wharf and the food was great.

The area is well served for eating out or gathering supplies for eating at home, and why not with stunning views from our accommodation at Seaview Studio.
A very peaceful pleasant place to get away from it all. Most enjoyable.

The room was well appointed, the juice and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch, the heat pump helped us sleep well at an ideal temperature, the bed was comfortable, everything we needed was provided, watching the sun rise over the sea was breathtaking, we had many food choices close by, the extraction fan in the bathroom worked very well and we enjoyed our short stay very much. This represented fabulous value for money for us, and I would highly recommend a stay here to anybody travelling for work or as a couple (probably small for children).

Beach was lovely. Plenty of beautiful vistas. Safe for swimming. Aquarius Motel was clean, comfy and lovely staff. Port Ohope General Store & Cafe were fantastic! Awesome service and awesome food! Couldn’t rate them highly enough. Moxi cafe was fabulous.
Provided everything we needed during our stay more than I expected and more then I've experienced at other hotels in the past. Miria & Toroi are such nice people & made us feel like we were just staying with whanau. Very beautiful home, atmosphere & people. Loved meeting you both & I hope we see yous next time we are in the area. Also, our 2 toddlers were comfortable especially son running a muck haha makes us happy seeing our babies be themselves outside of home.
Everything was just wonderful. Unit 2 was ideal for us. Having the pool, spa and sauna was a real treat. The accommodation is new, clean, modern and well thought out and we had all the equipment we needed. The breakfast supplies were more than generous. The barbecue worked well. Frank is a great host, helpful but unobtrusive. Ohope Beach is a very short walk away. We highly recommend this place for a special, peaceful break.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The location was fantastic, straight across from the beach and a ten minute walk to all the cafes and shops
Most of all, our dog, who is a bullmasstiff, was welcomed. Most large dogs are discriminated in holidays homes and the team made our stay so easy and relaxing. Thank you Ōhope beach motel, we can't wait to come back!
My Husband and I walked along the Beach then, had a beautiful breakfast at a Cafe just 5 minute walk from our gorgeous little accommodation. Such a great place to stay. I would recommend Ohope Beach to every Traveler looking for somewhere to stay. Beautiful beach, Fabulous Cafes and Restaurants, Grocery Stores and a couple of pretty Little Boutique and Gift shops if your looking for that special little something.
Moanarua Beach Cottage is a little gem located in a quiet residential area but within a 3 minute walk to the fantastic Ohope beach.
Miria and Taroi went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible and their welcome drink upon arrival really was a nice gesture.
The breakfast provided by Miria, including home made preserves really was more than we had expected and just perfect to start the day!
Great location, comfortable beds, beautiful outlook to ocean. Close to cafe and shops. The apartment was exceptionally clean with everything we needed. Great communication with Glynis and staff who had our room ready earlier than expected (after stopping en route at Whakatane market). Easy parking. I took my elderly mum and the flight of stairs was no problem for her. THANK YOU!
you will have a wonderful apartment with private entrance and parking right in front of the door. There is everything you need, and what we liked the best was the balcony to sit outside for eating or relaxing, especially great on a sunny hot day as it is in the shade. You can access the beach via a short walkway right from the back yard.

Amazing location for picturious view of Ohope Beach. The studio exceeded all of my expectations with its top of the class cleanliness to being equipped with everything you'd need from cooking facilities (even a BBQ!) as well as a washing machine. Honestly would definitely recommend more than a night stay to enjoy everything it has to offer 💫👏
Absolutely perfect stay! The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated and comfortable with incredible views of the beach and ocean. We loved the front deck and appreciated the use of the washer. We were made to feel so welcomed by the lovely staff/managers and owners. Welcome juice and cookies were lovely too!
The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, very well equipped, and has the most glorious outlook directly onto the beach and more distant view of WhakaariWhite Island. It is also just a short walk to the shops and cafes at Ohope Beach. Glynis and Ali were delightful and made us feel like family.
The view was amazing, lots of space, heating great, wifi great. A very relaxing place and great to read and daydream. Location is excellent with easy access to Whakatane and of course the beach is just across the road with plenty of shells to collect.
