Hideaway amongst the Mānuka trees, hear the tuī sing & the waves break, watch the trees sway and the ocean glister. This cosy modern cabin with a treehouse feel is located 5 min from Ruapuke beach and 25 min from Raglan. It is the perfect place to unwind, you will leave Rua Nuka recharged and refreshed. Return to your day to day life inspired and energised. Spend your day reading a book, play games and enjoy being amongst nature or hike to the top of Karioi, go surfing, or checkout the shops.
It’s been such joy for us to create a space where others feel at home & experience the love that we put into every detail. How privileged we feel to live in such a beautiful spot and to share the lushness of our natural surroundings. We are always available for tips and any questions.
We are located 25 minutes out of Raglan at Ruapuke Beach on the foot of Karioi. Ruapuke beach is a rugged beach, less crowded and stunning scenery. Great for fishing and surfing on smaller swell days. If you are a keen surfer, it is a 30 min drive around the mountain to the famous Raglan surfing points. The Karioi track is just around the corner if you would like to go for a scenic hike. There are lots of great activities to do in the neighbourhood and we would happily advise you of all the possibilities. Parking is at the beginning of our driveway. From the cabin it is a 5 min drive to either north end or south end entrance of Ruapuke beach over gravel road. Raglan is 25 minutes from the cabin, there you will find wonderful shops to visit, amazing food spots and lots of sightseeing options. All our recommendations you can find in our guidebook or let us know what you are into and we send you some personal suggestions.
