Take your pick of two outdoor areas, a sheltered dining and BBQ area and the sun-drenched deck for sunbathing with a good book. Pour yourself a cold drink, grab a bean bag and throw on some music, while the kids play in the large flat lawn area. When you get home from a day on the beach, rinse off any sand and sea water under the outdoor shower! Sleeping up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, A Slice of Summer is an excellent place for the whole family to settle into and find their own space to unwind and enjoy their holiday. Your stay will be made all that much better by the location, just a 3-minute walk from the beautiful Whangapoua Beach. If you don't feel like cooking or cleaning up, try 'Oh Boy Tacos' at New Chums car park or Luke's Kitchen in Kuaotunu, the closest restaurant and is a must-try. There is a Four Square located in Coromandel town over the hill, which has you covered for supplies! A slice of lemon in your drink to refresh you and A Slice of Summer to host your stay! Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
