    “Beautiful premises, good location, very clean and safe. Exceptional shower (really). Breakfast met expectations. Keep in mind it's a guesthouse not a hotel, so common areas/amenities are limited (but there are comfortable couches and a hammock)....”

Jamala Guesthouse is light and centrally located next to Lamu Fort in the historic oldest part of Lamu. It is a quiet amd private resort with a relaxing garden compound. All rooms have private bathrooms with hot water. There is a kitchen for common use and couches to relax as well as a rooftop with a great view of the sea.
Me, Mr. Karisa wellknown as Baji, manage this Guesthouse. I want to welcome you to the lovely Island of Lamu. Because of my experience as the Captain of Lamu Dhow Safaris since 15 years I am revommended in Lonely Planet Guide always providing a wonderful experience for my guests at a reasonable price. Since July 2017 I manage the Jamala Guestgouse which was under renovation and reconstruction for three years to offer our guests the standard they expect. Karibu to my Lovely Island. I look forward meeting you and being life long friends-
