The decor and design, the hotel was stunning with beautiful decor all over. It had a beautiful courtyard that our room overlooked.

The staff were all so kind and helpful. The barman made the best cocktails! Food was great, breakfast was an incredible feast, recommend the Swahili breakfast.

BREAKFAST - Good. & Served on time. POOL - could be better maintained & treated, was a bit cloudy and water was not clear. Needs modern tiles for finishing. FACILITIES - Drainage, seemed poor as water kept flooding in the washroom. Some times water was unavailable. Better plumbing for water and sewerage system needed.
Otherwise, staff are super nice and always available for assistance.

Very well maintained property with a beautiful view of Lamu, I got to watch a beautiful sunrise from the rooftop. The staff were very generous and made my experience at Jua House memorable. Thomas the owner is very responsive and hospitable! The cherry on the top is that they have a bakery in house with the best chocolate cookies I’ve ever had. I would definitely stay at Jua House again it’s a 10/10 for me.
