Less than a 5-minute walk from the Madarao Ski Resort chairlifts, Hakken by Active Life Madarao is a small, cozy and relaxed lodge with private bathrooms for guests. The property features ski-to-door access. Newly renovated in 2017, Hakken offers some rooms which feature a blend of modern Western-style design with traditional Japanese tatami (woven-straw) flooring. All rooms feature free WiFi access, an private bathroom and toilet, an in-room safe, refrigerator in addition to a Western-style bed and an LCD TV. Other facilities and services include a daily complimentary breakfast for all guests, a bar serving cocktails, Japanese whiskey, beers and wholesome snacks. Ski rental and discounted ski passes are available upon request.
