Absolutely wonderful stay. I foolishly wasn't aware the hotel was on an island near Stresa so when I arrived in the evening and the ferries had stopped for the day, I was horrified to find I couldn't get to the island! The wonderful reception staff sent me a water taxi and were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL. The room was wonderful, spacious, very comfortable bed, gorgeous view, and lovely bathroom with hot water and great water pressure. The breakfast was NEXT LEVEL - very generous, very good food, wonderful service, amazing breakfast room and view.
