The hotel is new and every detail screams luxury. They gave us a free upgrade for the room, because it was my wife’s birthday. Also they left a prosecco with 2 glaces in the room. The room is spacious and the bed is extremely confortable. The spa area is nice and included in the room rate. The best hotel in Matera. Only 10 min walk from Sissi.

We were lucky because they moved us in the old city in Palacio Gattini…luxury hotel partner of Alvino We parked on Alvino parking and they sent car for us .Next day I visit Alvino too.Nice modern designed hotel with garden.

Lo staff è cortese e disponibile, sorridente e sempre disposto ad aiutare: sono stati davvero di supporto ed aiuto nel nostro soggiorno, suggerendo anche posti da visitare. La stanza era ampia, ben riscaldata, pulita e con ottima dotazione (asciugamani, accappatoi, set bagno, phon potente ecc.). Sale ampie, ma anche salottini dove poter rilassarsi a fine giornata. Molto carino il bar dove si fa anche la colazione la mattina. Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto modo di provare la SPA per mancanza di tempo. Comodissimo il parcheggio, ampio e gratuito, che permette di lasciare la macchina e raggiungere il centro a piedi in una decina di minuti.

la struttura è davvero bellissima, la camera spaziosa e con ogni confort possibile. c’era un frigo bar con all’interno varie bevande tutte incluse nel prezzo; colazione salata e dolce abbondante. per non parlare della spa! un’ora di paradiso. parcheggio privato gratuito e a 20 min a piedi si arriva al centro di Matera. super consigliato

This is a beautiful and chic hotel and spa. It is a restored historic mill. The hotel was still getting ready for the high season when we were there. Once the new fountains, terrace and swimming pool are up and working it will be absolutely terrific. A spa treatment is included in the reservation. The rooms are very nice, beds so comfortable I had the best nights sleep of my whole vacation in Basilicata and Puglia. It is only a 15-20 minute walk to the old town of Matera, and a 5 minute drive to the Belvedere Murgia Timone where you have a wonderful view of the Sassi and the ravine. The hotel has on-site parking which is very important to us; the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and it has a state-of-the-art restaurant serving haute cuisine by a recognized chef. This is was the most memorable and best hotel we stayed in during our time in Italy, and we plan to return in the near future. A “must stay” during your visit to Matera.
