Lala Rukh is wonderful houseboat. The survives are good and staff is very nice and lovely. Such a beautiful houseboat in a amazing location with the mountains view, the houseboat was so clean and hygienic I’m in love with the interior of the houseboat. I had great time with my family. It was an lovely experience.

Absolutely made my 6 week trip magical. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I travelled all over India and was taken care of royally. I felt safe and looked after at all times and really got to see the real India. 10/10 for the houseboats and the tour company.

These guys really understand the meaning of the word hospitality. Nothing is too much for them and I never saw the smile waver from any of thier faces for all the time I was there. They treat you so well that one actually feels bad while leaving for home. The food too was quiet good and my parents liked the fact that they could Phulkas here. All in all one of the best places to stay in Srinagar and quiet an experience. I hope to come back soon. PS they also have their own shikara for pick and drop at all times.

Me and my family had a host of misgivings about staying in houseboat , it might be smelly the place might be full of mosquitoes🦎🦟🕷️🦗 and insects felt. It was moored in stagnant water after all. Plus no one was sure how the bathrooms would be. So we booked a house boat only for a day after all we did not want to take a chance. However as all of alighted in Lala Rukh Houseboat on our last day we wished(including children) we would stayed in the boat for our entire trip. The boat it breathtakingly beautiful with carved walnut panels and carpets all around , the common area is spacious and very comfortably furnished. We were given 2 rooms both the rooms very comfortably everything else one would expect in a Heritage property

The house boot is excellent in terms of location, Rooms and Services. Evening high tea is the highlight of the venue with local singers performing. For dinner we opted for Kashmir thalli and it was a over dose of local food 👌. All in all worth the money, away from the crowd.
