This luxury architect designed four bed (all en-suite) house is located approx 1 km outside the heritage town of Kenmare with its award winning restaurants, bars and shops. Kenmare sits on both the Ring of Kerry, the picturesque road that hugs the rocky coastline of the Iveragh Peninsular and circumnavigates the MacGillicuddy Reeks – Ireland's highest mountain range; and also the lesser known and less touristy, though perhaps more beautiful Ring of Beara.
Reg has been a visitor to Ireland for the last 50 years, prior to taking up permanent residency in Kenmare and has plenty of ideas and suggestions to make your trip to Kerry special. Both Reg and Gary are members of the local walking club and can discuss walking options in the area with our guests.
The house nests in a wooded area of oak, copper beech, silver birch, mountain ash, hornbeam and holly whilst a small stream flows through the garden. Early risers will be sure to see native red deer or red squirrel in the garden most mornings. Kenmare is ideal for walking, golfing, riding, fishing, or just sightseeing and shopping. We are on the Wild Atlantic Way.
