The owner and his wife are very kind and beautiful persons! The owner is also a expert guide for the rinjani trekking and he was very helpful and honest with us with all the questions that we asked about the trekking. We couldn't go up on the Vulcano 'cause the rainy season but he was really helpful to give us other options around the area. When I'll come back for the rinjani trekking I would definitely come back here and organizing my trip with him. The accomodation was also the best value with money that we found so far during our trip around north Lombok area. The beds are very comfortable, with mosquitoes net and there is hot shower. The food is also very good and not expensive. The location is also very good for visiting some beautiful waterfall around (we reached them by walk).

We chose Ila Homestay to explore the Rinjani trekking options. The room was simple but had everything we needed incl. a fan and hot shower. Everything was clean. Also the hosts were very friendly and kind. The breakfast was really nice, we had the vegetable omlet. Great value for money! Furthermore, it is located within walking distance from the entrance to the waterfalls. We were not sure which trekking we should do (summit or crater rim) but with the information provided we decided to do the 2D1N private tour with Jull from Ila Homestay and two porters. He is a professional, licenced guide and the trekking was everything and more than we hoped. Amazing food, good tent and comfy sleeping bags. They also take all the trash back down with them.

Our stay was amazing - everything was better than expected. The room, bathroom and terrace are spacious, clean and bright + there is hot water in the shower. The owners are nice and the breakfast is exeptional - big, many varieties to choose from, extra fruits on the side and other food on the menu too! Would definitely recommend and come again! Jull and his family were the most incredible hosts and extremely thoughtful ensuring we had the best experience of Senaru Village and Mt rinjani! A massive thankyou to our great guide (Anton) and porters who made sure we were well fed with lots of fresh fruit and very prepared if we needed anything along the route! We had an awesome time on the Crater rim trek walking through the native jungle and seeing the rare ebony leaf monkey. Jull was excellent in organizing everything from the start of enquiry. The drivers were also brilliant too.

Jull's is very patient in answering questions on WhatsApp. He arranged everything of hiking on Mt Rinjani - the must to do experience at Lombok - either a 3D/2N or 4D/3N tour to summit. The room is well prepared and in local interior design. He also sent my kindle forgot in the room after check out by express - though the fee of driver to the express office are much more expensive.
