Yasemi Superb Two Floor Apartment (sleeps three) is a fully renovated in 2018 contemporary and elegant fully equipped apartment with modern appliances of quality, unlimited WiFi and air condition. Spacious shadowed terrace and balcony, with view over the city. Unique location in the heart of the city center in the main square in 2-5 min walking distance from archaeological sites, supermarkets, shops and restaurants, bars and night life. Paid parking available nearby. The apartment is on the second and third floor of a fully renovated building. On the first floor of the apartment, there is a queen double bed with anti-allergic mattress and a modern bathroom with toiletries (shower). On the second floor there is the open-plan kitchen and a single bed with anti allergic mattress. A minimal artistic stair connects the two floors. There is a spacious, shadowed terrace which you can use for breakfast, lunch and romantic dinners. Indoor, flat smart TV, air condition (cool/heat), free unlimited WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, high quality furniture and linen. A white marble stair leads to the apartment.
I decided to redesign this apartment earlier this year, fully respecting its heritage while wanting to offer to my guests a pleasant, comfortable stay in the friendly, warm and alive atmosphere of this historical town .
Yasemi Superb Apartment is located in one of the most popular market roads in the city center where everything is in walking distance. On the road parallel to the apartment there is an open air market that you can buy organic products, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, fresh meat or fish. Shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and night life are within walking distance. Two min away on foot you will reach the famous Lions Square, St. Marcus Basilica and the elegant building of Loggia, nowadays the city hall. If you go down that pedestrian street you will come across the old port with the Venetian castle. Moreover, the apartment is a mere 20 min drive from the nearest beach, and a popular tourist destination, Ammoudara beach. Along the coast there are beach-bars, sunbeds and umbrellas that you can use if you wish. On top of that, the apartment is 5 min by foot from the Archaeological Museum and from the historical walls of the old town of Heraklion. There, you can also visit the grave of the famous author Nikos Kazantzakis. If you want to visit the Palace of Knossos, there is a bus station 100 metres away from the apartment. The ride takes about 20 minutes.
