Situated in the sun bleached Hora, the house is literally carved into the rock and beautifully preserved. It's refreshed with gleaming wood floors and simple unmistakably Greek furnishings and has perfected and updated a small space that takes advantage of every available area beautifully and imaginatively. With one sleeping area comprised of one (probably two) sleeper sofa in the main section of the house and a larger double “loft” bed elevated high above, reached by the wooden staircase. The kitchen is equipped for your meals and provides a cosy dining area. The bathroom and toilet is a curious and natural surprise nestled into the rock on a room connected to the main house. Carefully restored, the house also features large terrace and balcony with amazing view of the mountain and town below. The cottage is located in the narrows whitewashed alleys of the cliff-top town, just a minute walk from the picturesque and enchanting central square of S. Athanassios. There you can find the famous cafe of Stratos and other nice places for food and drinks. The house is located in a quiet alley, not accessible by car and the public parking is, more or less, 10 minutes by foot with stairs
I like sports like basketball, swimming, running, hiking, skiing and so on. I also like spending my free summer time in greek islands. I don't like being addicted by staff except from people. I like meeting people and have friends with me. I am an electrical engineer working as a freelancer.
The neighborhood of Serifos Hora is picturesque, is characterized by the quiet of an old neighborhood and the houses are maintained with respect to the tradition and history of the settlement. Few of the neighbors are permanent residents. They are usually quiet people who visit the island and are attracted by traditional and picturesque destinations. Until the Hora's main square there are mini markets, cafes, bars, taverns and shops. After the square there are only houses like our home and two small shops with souvenirs, so the house combines the beauty and tranquility of the country when within 50 to 100 meters seems to pulse with life and excitement. Very close to the house in about 5-10 minutes there is the top of the Hora neighborhood from which anyone can enjoy a 360° view of the island and the Aegean sea. There is also the bus stop on the asphalt road at a distance of 5-10 minutes.
